Born in East Tennessee, I am now the French Language Program Supervisor at the University of Georgia. I received my doctorate in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching at the University of Arizona. I earned my Master's in French and Bachelor of Arts in French and Psychology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK). I have an active research agenda with a few publications and have presented at several conferences including the American Educational Research Association Annual Meeting, AILA, AAAL, and CALICO. I also have six years of teaching experience total from UTK, l'Université de Lille, Pima Community College, and the University of Arizona.
